What you will be doing:

  • Initiate commercial dialogues with potential clients to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Guide customers through the digital transformation journey, showcasing the value of A-SAFE's IIoT safety and productivity solutions.
  • Take charge of the sales process from initial contact to the first renewal, focusing on securing new customer accounts and their initial site setup before transitioning to an Account Manager.
  • Organize and lead collaborative meetings with prospects, introducing them to our technical services specialists, account managers, and customer success teams.
  • Ensure customer relationships are scalable and sustainable, with all expectations clearly documented and communicated across teams.
  • Oversee the successful onboarding and satisfaction of customers' first site, preparing for a smooth transition to the Account Manager.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies.
  • Manage RFI and RFQ processes, conduct negotiations, and achieve sales targets.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify additional sales opportunities and engage in networking events to open new accounts.

Must have:

  • Proven experience in B2B business development in as-a-Service environments.
  • Preference for candidates with combined hardware and software as-a-Service experience.
  • Expertise in initiating contact, establishing relationships, and opening new accounts.
  • Proficient in translating leads into new accounts through effective communication and targeted proposals.
  • Strong ability to convey technical concepts to a diverse audience and build business cases for Proof of Concept.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, with outstanding problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • High proficiency in English, suitable for a dynamic professional business environment.
  • Pragmatic, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Could have:

  • A background in industrial safety or related engineering fields.
  • Experience with Industrial IoT solutions.
  • Experience in consultative sales.
