Title: Accounting Technician

Salary: $60,000-$75,000

Location: Ville Saint-Laurent

Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days work from home

Permanent position with full benefits

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations by assisting with various tasks related to financial record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Prepare and post journal entries as needed

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

Provide support for audits and other financial inspections

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Technician, Accounting Assistant, or in a related role.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.

Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and procedures.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Effective organizational and time-management abilities.

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
