Assistant controller

Our client , a well establish group of company is looking for their next great assistant controller to support the accounting of the business and oversee accounts payable. With growth in mind my client is looking for someone that can adapt to change and implement solid accounting procedures. If you are not afraid to be hands on, have experience managing a small team and the month end process then this could be a great fit for you .

this position is 100% on site but offers flexibility for life events and medical appointments.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Prepare and review monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Monitor inventory accounting processes and cost of sales, analyzing variances and ensuring accuracy.

Coordinate with sales and service departments to facilitate accurate transaction recording.

Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.

Assist in preparing for and participating in audits, maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelors or CPA

Min 3- 5 years experience in accounting

min 1-2 years supervisory role

Bilingual ( reporting in English required )

strong in Excel

having worked with an ERP before
