Schedule: 35 hours/week – HYBRID 3 days at the office

Location: NDG Notre-dame-de-grace , Montreal

Salary range: 25-33$/h ( 55-60k per year )

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The accounting clerk will be a part of a team in accounting and responsible for accounts payable and receivable and other ad-hoc tasks. The ideal candidate would have 3 + years of relevant experience and has worked in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record expense reports;
• Ensure payment deadlines are met and payment discounts are taken into account;
• Verify and reconcile customer and supplier statements;
• Issue and send out cheques;
• Prepare direct and bank deposits;
• Follow up on accounts receivable and payable
• Follow up on the prepaid expenses file;
• Open accounts receivable and payable in accordance with the required documentation;
• Perform all other related tasks and journal entries;
• Filing of accounting documents;
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of of experience in a similar position
• Ability to communicate in French and in English
• Having worked in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
