Senior Accountant

We are in the process of creating the leading network of physician-led medical aesthetic clinics in the US. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks of the company.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and comfort working in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Take a leadership role on the full accounting cycle for multiple entities
• Maintain accurate financial records, subledger schedules and documentation
• Prepare consolidating and eliminating entries at different levels of the organization
• Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting reports as necessary
• Prepare and review timely month-end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions including setting up monthly accruals
• Assist with year year-end audit and tax preparation process and responding to requests Work closely with accounts payable team to ensure payables process is running smoothly to support timely payments to vendors and stakeholder
• Perform other accounting and financial tasks as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role with strong technical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills & excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to plan, organize and manage work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
