Evergreen Staffing Solutions is excited to partner with a company who has been strengthening the civil infrastructure of the greater NY area for over 75 years in search of their next Human Resources Director! This role is ideal for a Human Resources Manager ready to step into a Director role. The role is primarily tactical, but also involves partnering with senior leadership on strategy, resources, and the ever changing landscape of HR. The role is ONLY coming open because the incumbent has been in the seat for 15 years and is ready to retire. You don't see that type of tenure often, which speaks to the culture, partnership, and stability of the organization.

This role is a generalist leadership role that will be involved in the oversight and partnerships that touch every aspect of the department. You will work closely with other subject matter experts including the General Counsel and Director of Benefits amongst other resources setting you up for success in day to day execution.

Required Skill Set:

• 10+ years of HR management in a similar role (employee head count range 150-200 FTE)
• Bachelors degree
• Similar Industry experience is plus but not a must
