The National Intelligence University (NIU) runs both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in support of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. In your role, you will help establish, implement, and administer a robust student advisory program aimed at helping train faculty on how to advise students and how to implement NIU advising standards with their students.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and refine a university wide advising program and standardize advising between the School of Science and Technology and the College of Strategic Intelligence
• Work with the provost and deputy provosts to discern what each department does well and combine them with industry best practices to create and implement an advisory program for faculty
• Assist in the creation of an online advising portal and help leadership interpret the data produced
• Serve as the student’s first interaction when they are seeking an advisor
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience advising both graduate and undergraduate students
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and the various university locations
• Bachelor’s degree (5+ years of experience may serve in lieu of a degree)
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and the various university locations
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
