About The Role

As our new Director, Influencer, you will lead end-to-end influencer strategy and execution for a robust beauty account helping us achieve maximum impact of the overarching brand story.

You are able to pitch bold social strategies, ideas, and frameworks to the most senior clients; draft compelling content for an array of brands with different audience considerations; stay on top of trending content and audience behaviors to inform opportunistic content and strategies.

You'll be dedicated to one of the world's best brands and will bring social expertise and perspective to an integrated environment. You'll create Social Media Influencer Marketing programs and will use your expertise to craft authentic engagements. You must have a strategic mindset and deep knowledge in the social media space. We are seeking someone with superior relationship building skills and someone who is a team player. The position will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day influencer marketing activities on behalf of brands, using influencers as brand advocates, content promoters, and content contributors

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of influencer campaigns and supporting senior strategists and strategists, from identification, creative, implementation, and reporting. 
  • Design and define industry-leading Influencer strategy: recommend objectives, targets, action plan, calendar, and budget. 
  • Align and collaborate with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and all other stakeholders – internal and external – to deliver best-in-class campaigns for our clients. 
  • Nurture client-appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to help deliver the influencer program for clients. 
  • Lead and deliver creative and sell content solutions to internal stakeholders and clients. 
  • Oversee day-to-day activations and provide oversight and counsel for junior support teams. 
  • Provide senior council to clients, advising on industry developments as they occur and showing relevance for clients on the ground. 
  • Create and conduct influencer briefs for creatives and influencers, with co-creation at the core
  • Analyze and access campaign to provide valuable insights and opportunities
  • Remain on the pulse of influencer marketing trends to ensure creative, maximum exposure
  • Efficiently and effectively plans and manage influencers at large-scale events
  • Assist in the development of and participate in promoting our influencer offering across the business, including writing thought leadership and attending industry events. 
  • Lead additional projects as required – such as new business pitches, market reviews, and competitive trends. 
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team and be a role model to your line reports, who seek you out as a source of advice and guidance. 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in social media influencer strategy and execution; experience in driving talent partnerships
  • Proven ability to develop meaningful influencer relationships that result in authentic story-telling that drive impact
  • Proven ability to identify relevant influencers and conduct effective outreach
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns
  • Proven ability to shepherd the development of legal contracts with influencers
  • Experience working with influencer and content management tools
  • Understands influencer search tools and platforms to assess the effectiveness of an influencer
  • Experience in Beauty required
  • Ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving in how they approach every task – whether that's identifying a way to improve the internal process or co-creating an inspiring way to sell in the work. Able to consider different angles on a brief.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to create highly effective and fruitful working relationships with clients and colleagues.
