Location: Open to MiQ US Offices; Hybrid with Travel requirement

We are looking for an M&A Post-Merger Integration manager to increase the value of MiQ’s strategic acquisitions. This role will lead the development and execution of integration strategies that unlock and amplify the value of each acquisition. Additionally, the role will contribute to the advancement of the M&A integration management capability through continuous improvement and innovation.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Illinois, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Illinois and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $130,000- $200,000. This range may vary for positions outside of Illinois as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ’s Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages. We are looking for an M&A Post-Merger Integration manager to increase the value of MiQ’s strategic acquisitions. This role will lead the development and execution of integration strategies that unlock and amplify the value of each acquisition. Additionally, the role will contribute to the advancement of the M&A integration management capability through continuous improvement and innovation.
As an Integration Manager in the Talent department, you’ll have the chance to:
- Support the development and execution of the integration strategy for each acquisition to drive value while maintaining business stability
- Partner with a large cross-functional team to orchestrate impactful integration planning and execution throughout the deal lifecycle
- Ensure smooth execution of the integration plan - including defining and scoping workstreams, tracking progress and problem solving issues
- Proactively drive alignment across diverse partners, ranging from the M&A team to employees of acquired companies to subject matter experts
- Assist in developing and delivering analyses, recommendations, and presentations for senior executives.
- Find opportunities to improve processes and collaboratively institutionalize changes.
- Integration Management Skills: Past experience designing and leading post-merger integrations
- Business Leadership Skills: Strong, team-oriented leadership skills. Able to identify, frame, and confront risks and issues and make recommendations for mitigations or resolutions
- Influencing and Interpersonal Skills: High EQ, low ego. Able to establish and build close trusted working relationships. Strong personal credibility, partnering and collaboration skills.
- Executive Communication & Writing Skills: Strong communicator adept at communications strategy and execution, at both Board and business-level
- Project/Program Management Skills: Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics. Create, update, and maintain project plans, weekly status reports, and management reports. Handle resource allocation proactively by ensuring that appropriate resources and tools are assigned to the tasks accordingly to implement the planned tasks successfully.
- Change Management Skills: Passion for tuning into unique cultures, needs, and sentiments of stakeholders. Listens with empathy and turns insights into action. Exercises flexibility in work approach to address evolving needs of collaborators.
- M&A Experience: Understanding of the acquisition lifecycle, integration planning and execution, and strategic considerations.
- 7-10 years of M&A integration management, project management or related experience.
- Broad understanding of GTM and Shared Services functions – Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR is a plus.
- Proficiency of program/project management standard methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support team building; builds mutual trust and encourages respect and collaboration among team members.
- Aptitude for leading through ambiguity and critical/strategic thinking
