Role- Electrical Control Panel and Harness Design Engineer
Location- Plymouth, MN 55441
Job Description
Design and develop highly configured control panels utilizing VFDs, transformers, fuses, contactors, motor protectors and the like. Researches, develops, designs, and tests high voltage electrical components, equipment, and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs electrical control panels with components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic, and internal purposes utilizing Daikin configurators to allow for high variability in control system designs.
Fluent with three and single phase power and control circuit design with experience reading and modifying system schematics in electro-mechanical machinery Generate engineering documentation for control panel component and wire harness selection for use in automated engineering systems also known as KBE Knowledge Based Engineering
Generation of wire harness logic and assemblies
Minimum Qualifications Of Applicant
Electrical engineering disciplines with 5 -7 years of relevant experience preferably in the HVAC industry with Minor project management experience
Experience with generating electrical schematics
Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication methods
