Location: Remote; candidate can reside anywhere in the US.

Position Summary

Trend Micro is searching for a Channel & Alliances Solution Architect to grow within our US team. The role will align with the Global Alliances VP, US Channel VP, Regional Technical Leaders, Product Management, as well as supporting roles in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The role will be responsible for managing and nurturing our strategic partnerships with key industry leaders such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, CDW, and SHI. The Channel & Alliances Engineer will play a critical role in driving joint go-to-market strategies, technical integrations, and customer success initiatives to strengthen our relationships and expand our market presence. The position requires seasoned experience in Sales Engineering or the Cloud Solution Provider vertical with a proven track record for revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for our most strategic US Partner’s such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, CDW, and SHI.
• Lead technical integration efforts to ensure seamless compatibility between Trend Micro solutions and Partner platforms.
• Develop healthy and trusted relationships with key Partner stakeholders
• Collaborate with partners to identify and drive joint business opportunities, including co-selling and GTM initiatives.
• Represent Trend Micro through business solutions and Thought Leadership at events, panels, and webinars.
• Drive field enablement through delivery and creation of collateral (demos, videos, training, etc).
• Collaborate with a variety of internal functional areas to ensure solutions are implemented and supported in-line with Partner expectations.
• Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing solutions to product management function.
• Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta solutions.
• Willing to travel within the US for Partner facing activities, as well as marketing, and customer initiatives.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• BS degree or combination of: education and pre-sales experience in Security, Cloud, Network Systems.
• At least five (5) years of experience working within Sales Engineering aligned to Partner objectives.
• Demonstrated success working with technical decision makers and executives.
• Detailed knowledge of Public Cloud provider technologies and APIs. (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Broad technology experience including risk visibility and prioritization, cloud architecture, networking, security, and IT transformation.
• Experience architecting/designing solutions built on-prem and cloud.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  
  

Trend Micro, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is USD $160,000.00 - $200,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
