As a technical business analyst in the financial banking sector, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating

data-driven decision making by leveraging our in-house no code environment to re-build reports as part of our migration from physical Oracle servers to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain our reporting solutions.

Your insights and contributions will be instrumental in optimizing our banking operations and enhancing the overall stakeholder experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities

WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Requirements gathering:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.

Define KPIs and success metrics for various business processes.

No-Code Report Building:

Utilize our in-house no code platform to design, develop, and maintain the reports we are migrating from Oracle PL/SQL to no-code Microsoft Azure.

Data integration:

Work closely with upstream stakeholders to ensure seamless integrations of data sources into downstream reporting solutions.

Maintain data accuracy and consistency from upstream to downstream by performing data quality checks, integrating monitors, and other solutions.

Analysis and Insights:

Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, and use tools such as Excel, to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders to support informed decision making.

Documentation and Training:

Document reporting solutions, data models, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their utilization of no-code reporting tools.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies such as our in-house no-code tool as-well as Azure.

Propose and implement improvements to existing reporting solutions and processes.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience.

Strong proficiency in a no-code development tool such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, SAP, or similar.

knowledge of PL/SQL and data querying.

knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Solid understanding of financial concepts, banking operations, and data analysis.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as-well as international teams globally.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interactions with domestic and global clients.
