What Will You Be Doing?

Your mission is to drive awareness of Nationwide Power’s offerings and convert leads to new customers. The Inside Sales Representative takes a proactive approach, reaching out to potential prospects through phone calls and emails to collect information and spark interest in competitive quotations. They assume a quarterback role in the sales process by actively identifying and nurturing new business prospects from diverse sources, ensuring a seamless handoff of prospective opportunities to their sales colleagues for quotes and order fulfillment.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-2:30pm / Friday: 6:00am-1:00pm

Compensation

$15/hr Plus Commission

Skills Required To Succeed

  • Proactively engages with prospects to develop new accounts.
  • Essential qualities include punctuality, professionalism, motivation, and a target-driven mindset.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a drive to reach decision makers.
  • Expert at building rapport and active listening, developing client relationships and promoting company’s reputation.
  • Outgoing, well-spoken, engaging, and reliable team player. Ability to talk to customers via phone with excellent people and organizational skills. Should also possess excellent writing and e-mail skills.
  • Autonomously efficient in managing the sales process: Skilled in following a script authentically, maintaining excitement, and consistently achieving performance goals.
  • Manage new and prospective clients in CRM software, strong background in CRM use is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet software required. Must have knowledge of social networking sites (LinkedIn) for research purposes.
  • Phone sales experience and the ability to ask for the sale are required. Outbound telemarketing experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge regarding UPS Makes/Models, Battery Makes/Models, and basic trouble shooting procedures preferred. While industry knowledge is a plus, it is not required, on-the-job training is provided. We'll make sure you have all the support you need to succeed!
