Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including brokers, clients, and internal teams, to gather and document business requirements for the broker portal website.
• Functional Analysis: Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring they align with the portal's goals and objectives.
• User Stories and Use Cases: Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to capture the end-to-end user journey and system interactions.
• Feature Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to prioritize website features, functionalities, and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the portal's user interface and user experience meet industry standards and user expectations.
• Data Analysis: Analyze and define data requirements, including data sources, data transformations, and reporting needs for the portal.
• Quality Assurance: Define test cases and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the portal's functionality is thoroughly tested and meets quality standards.
• Change Management: Support change management processes to facilitate a smooth transition during portal updates and improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project progress and outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in web portal or web application projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding of the insurance or brokerage industry is a plus.
