Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented Business Analyst that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and web-based software applications. This role’s primary responsibility will be working closely with our educational specialist, developers, quality assurance, UX/UI, and management to gather and document requirements for new features and updates to our web-based software products. Familiarity with agile development and flexibility are key to this role.
Responsibilities
Working with multiple teams to analyze and document new software features and updates.
Create User Acceptance Stories for new features and updates based on requirements.
Ability to convert wireframes and visual designs to written requirements and User Acceptance Stories.
Researching and documenting existing software features and functionality.
Assist in the resolution of questions and impediments between teams.
Conducting user story estimating and sprint planning meetings.
Creating new and/or editing knowledge base articles as new features are released.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task, adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure.
Ability to write technical content clearly and accurately.
Accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills are a must
Experience with documenting software in a SAAS/Agile environment.
2+ years of technical writing experience.
BS/BA degree in English, Technical Writing, Communication, Business, or related field.
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java is a plus.
Must be a US citizen.
