About The Role

Heyday is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee, manage, and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology systems. This role is based in NYC and will report directly to the Vice President of Technology. The IT Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT-related activities to support the company’s growth and operational objectives.

What You'll Do

• IT Infrastructure Management
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of the company’s IT systems, including those for Owned and Operated and Franchise Partner locations.
• Team Leadership
• Recruit, hire, lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and services to internal stakeholders.
• Strategic Planning
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring scalability and security.
• Budget Management
• Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Security and Compliance
• Ensure the security of the company’s IT infrastructure, data, and systems, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Vendor Management
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and support of IT services.
• Project Management
• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and meeting the defined objectives.
• Technical Support
• Provide technical support and guidance to employees, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues promptly.
• Policy Development
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems.
• Innovation
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the company’s IT capabilities
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
