The Company:

OSL (Outsourced Sales Leadership) was established in 2012 in Mississauga, Ontario, to provide clients with customized designed sales solutions in retail, direct sales, merchandising and customer acquisition.


About the role:

OSL is excited to partner with The Water Street Collective (TWSC) to develop the Ryde brand in Canada and are seeking a Planning Analyst and Performance Executive. In this role you will develop and implement the tools to support the analysis of the market, competition, and portfolio performance.


As part of the Commercial and Category Insights team for our client The Water Street Collective, you will play a key role in creating measurable value through accurate demand forecasting. This role will shape the planning area in this start-up company, developing tools and learning that will be a reference for the global team and demand planning teams. The role encompasses the development, implementation, and maintenance of the forecasting tool and BI tools, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making.


The product:

The Ryde product was created by a team of mums, dads, working professionals, weekend warriors, hobbyists, and adventure-seekers. These same individuals also happen to be brand marketers, product developers, and salespeople all working for TWSC to create feel-good products for everyone.


LOCATION: HYBRID MONTREAL


What you will be responsible:

  • Support the monthly S&OP cycle, developing and implementing forecasting tools. Analyze sales performance to ensure the accuracy of forecast assumptions and outputs.
  • Monitor competitive practices and activities, prices, promotion, portfolio changes.
  • Monitor market dynamics to identify opportunities for the business portfolio as part of the long-term strategic planning process.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain forecasting tools and maintain performance tracking tools.
  • Collaborate closely with teams, sharing performance results, aligning on demand planning.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Distribution, and Operations Planning ensuring efficient product distribution and inventory tracking.
  • Maintain communication with global team to support global planning processes.
  • Collaborate with AU & USA Forecasting Teams in other markets for best practices.
  • Manage, collaborate, and maintain daily relationships with IT suppliers.
  • Manage supplier’s deliverables to ensure accurate access to market performance data that supports the demand forecasting process.



What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry.
  • Proven track record in demand forecasting and category/commercial performance analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI implementation tools, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical abilities, adept at gathering and interpreting data to solve complex problems.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement new processes, tools, systems, and reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective time management.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities.
