Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Collierville, TN

Duration: Long Term

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing engineering processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
  • Lead and facilitate value stream mapping (VSM) exercises to visualize and streamline our production processes, from raw material procurement to product delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and logistics to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and performance metrics tracking to identify opportunities for enhancing productivity and throughput.
  • Design and implement standardized work procedures, work instructions, and best practices to ensure consistent quality and efficiency across all operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams on process optimization, equipment utilization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in industrial engineering to incorporate innovative solutions into our operations.
  • Generate reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review based on data analysis and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to evaluate new technologies, equipment, and processes for potential integration into our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience required.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on process improvement and engineering excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively and lead in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving change.
  • Familiarity with DevOps / Agile Methodology.
