We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in managing multi-stakeholder projects within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a PMP certification, proficiency in the waterfall methodology, and a thorough understanding of Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
Stakeholder Management: Handle strategic stakeholders, including senior management and business stakeholders.
Methodologies: Apply waterfall methodology and ensure compliance with PMLC and SDLC documentation.
Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain project management reports and project health metrics.
Governance and Escalations: Implement governance frameworks and handle escalations.
Project Management Tools: Use tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project (MPP), and RAID logs.
Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.
Required Qualifications
Certification: PMP certification.
Experience:
Managing multi-stakeholder projects in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance (Not Life or Health).
Using waterfall methodology.
Understanding of PMLC and SDLC.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management reporting, project health metrics, and tools like Smartsheet, MPP, and RAID logs.
Governance: Experience in managing project governance and escalations.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and communicate with strategic stakeholders.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
