Recreational Director

Hometown America has a unique opportunity available for a Recreational Director at Tanglewood located in Sebring, FL.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Organizing, planning and running all community sponsored events within budget;
• Working closely with residents and committees to ensure that we are meeting resident relations goals and providing successful events; and,
• Preparing communications about upcoming events, including making announcements on our weekly “Monday Morning Coffee.”
  
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• The ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some nights and weekends required to run and/or attend special events;
• Prior planning and project or event coordination experience with a focus on customer service;
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to handle details;
• Initiative (self-starter) with ability to persevere and follow through on tasks and commitments; and,
• Proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office products and web-based applications.
• Our hiring process includes criminal background and driving record checks.
• A current, valid driver's license from the state where the community is located is required before driving a company-owned vehicle or before driving a personal vehicle on company business;
