The Anthropologie Group is searching for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP). The Senior HRBP is a strategic and tactical advisor to Anthropologie leadership and line managers with regard to all Anthropologie people matters. Responsible for leading and executing HR and Talent functions within the Anthropologie Group, the Senior HRBP is the liaison between Anthropologie and URBN people related Shared Services. The Senior HRBP also plays a strategic role in designing innovative employee experiences and as a thought partner to the Anthropologie leadership team on topics such as talent development, organizational design, change management, performance management, and leadership.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic HR advice to the Anthropologie senior leadership team, providing guidance and support on all elements of the employee lifecycle.
  • Partners with URBN HR and other Shared Service departments to ensure development and delivery of people related programs to Anthropologie employees, and to support company- and/or Brand-wide policies and programs including open enrollment, succession planning, compensation planning and the performance appraisal cycle.
  • Assists Anthropologie leadership and line managers in the on boarding and training of new employees; partners with URBN HR to develop and deliver necessary training to Anthropologie employees.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the URBN HR and legal department as needed/required.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues in partnership and with the support of URBN Legal and HR teams. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Ensures employee records are managed in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Partners with and supports employee listening strategies to drive and measure employee experience on a broad array of issues including engagement, pulse, and lifecycle surveys; employ analytical thinking to share interpretation of data with brand teams, clients, and/or department management and develops action steps to support improvements/changes.
  • Works closely with all management and employees to recommend, create and implement programming in line with the URBN commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10+ years of HR experience preferably in the retail/fashion industry.
  • Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Philadelphia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR strategies: DEI, workforce planning and development, talent management, organization design and administrative functions
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local labor and employment laws (i.e., Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and EEO regulations)
  • Direct client-facing experience
  • Experience in leveraging project management and change management methodologies to achieve business outcomes.
