Senior Lead Test Engineer, PM Sensors-Aerial Intelligence

This position is contingent of contract award.

Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI with CI Poly and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.

General Description: Support PM Sensors-Aerial Intelligence as the Lead Test Engineer. As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) subject matter expert on the engineering team, the candidate will serve as the team representative for all test-related activities to support Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) sensors. The role involves planning and executing tests of these sensors and their integration on aircraft platforms, and providing expertise to evaluate Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), and Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR) / Moving Target Indicator (MTI) solutions. Additionally, the candidate will support systems engineering in evaluating technologies, system integration efforts, and operational planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SME support for the developmental and operational tests of SIGINT, RADAR, and EO/IR sensors.
  • Support sensor test campaigns in the design, execution, and analysis of data collection from sensor systems during laboratory, ground, and flight tests; assess performance against requirements for verification and identification of performance envelopes.
  • Plan, develop, and execute specialized test events as necessary.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with relevant government agencies; attend PD SAI staff meetings.
  • Provide expertise on Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis.
  • Support the fielding and operations of the ISR platforms, including coordination with peer USG offices regarding software, network, and mission integration; on-site and remote software installation and configuration.

Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, Education, And Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • 15+ years of test and evaluation, training development, and operations experience in support of military programs and applications.
  • Completed Course Requirements:
    • CFD-IC or equivalent
    • Army Basic Instructor Course or equivalent
    • Flight Instructor Fundamentals or equivalent
  • Active DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance with CI Poly.
  • Active SIPRNet access required.
  • Active JWICS access required.
  • Direct applicable knowledge and experience in Army AISR systems such as ARES, ARTEMIS, ATHENA, HADES, ARL-E, GRCS, and EMARSS.
  • Direct applicable knowledge of Army intelligence CONOPs, PED processes, and collection tools.
  • Knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art ISR collection systems, as well as commercially used systems, to make sound recommendations.
  • Direct working experience with SIGINT (COMINT & ELINT) and GEOINT collection techniques and data flows through the PED architecture.
  • Experience in SIGINT electronics design, RF signal processing and dissemination, system analysis, target acquisition, and geolocation techniques.
  • Experience with testing of COMINT and ELINT sensors.
