  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • 8 years of experience in tech/enterprise industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
  • Experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales).
  • Experience escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Understanding of enterprise software, and key players, with the ability to grasp technical and product concepts.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal teams to sign and manage agreements.
  • Ability to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up like environments where thoughtfulness, an entrepreneurial mindset, persistent execution, and relationships drive success.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Partnerships are a critical part of this fast paced, complex, and strategic product area, and we are looking for a leader to help drive product success with impactful partnerships. You possess strong strategic business development and relationship-building skills and are effective at communicating with both business and technical leaders. You are comfortable balancing multiple priorities, understanding products at a technical level, developing and executing strategic plans, making independent judgments, working across functions with internal and external partners, negotiating partnership agreements, and managing long-term partner relationships. You will have fun, learn a lot, and work with great colleagues.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Oversee managing partner/supplier engagement and relationship by tracking business/technology metrics and insights, building business forecasts, and ensuring strong brand/reputation management.
  • Oversees strategic relationships with external partners/suppliers and internal stakeholders/teams to drive the best partner/supplier experience and ensure product excellence.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and build partnerships strategy and strategic business plans, size market opportunity, competitive landscape, identify relevant partners in different regions.
  • Oversee partner/supplier experience to ensure agreement integration which includes negotiating and finalizing agreements, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner/supplier issues and advocating on behalf of partner/supplier.
  • Manage partner relationships globally to launch the agreement in collaboration with partner executives, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
