Location: Columbus, OH

Worksite: On-site

Position: Full-time

Duties:

  • Liaise with local health care facilities and establish EMS protocols
  • Conduct quarterly EMS and annual trauma training
  • Review and ensure quality control of EMS incidents and reports
  • Support state-approved continuing education programs
  • Provide medical oversight for the DSCC AED Program
  • Evaluate and review the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program
  • Approve protocols, training programs, and drug licensing

Requirements:

  • Valid Ohio medical license
  • Active involvement in emergency care and EMS organizations
  • Five years of experience with military installations
  • Current emergency room physician
  • Board certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or similar
