TeamHealth is seeking a board certified or board eligible toxicology director to run the toxicology curriculum and join core faculty for an ACGME-accredited three year emergency medicine (EM) residency program.

You will live and work in a mecca for environmental toxicology cases as Grand Strand is the busiest level I center in the state, with the only pediatric emergency department in the region. Grand Strand leaders are currently providing medical direction to several local reptile parks. Additionally, the coastal location provides ample exposure to stingray and jellyfish envenomation, as well as annual shark attacks. You will work closely with wilderness medicine track director to incorporate toxicology education into the GME program.

  • Opportunity to establish an inpatient toxicology consulting service
