The Role In a Nutshell


The Paid Search & Social Supervisor is a mid-level role in Media at Laughlin Constable responsible for the development and execution of paid search & social campaigns across all search and social networks – working in collaboration with the Media Planning and Social Strategy teams.


This candidate will demonstrate significant knowledge of paid search and social including strategy, as well as major and emerging platforms, products and capabilities. He/She must have a passion for social media, and be able to translate that passion into the creation of inventive buying strategies that compliment a larger digital media strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute paid search & paid social media campaigns across major players Google, YouTube, Meta, as well as Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, SnapChat, X, LinkedIn, NextDoor & Reddit.
  • Develop media plans in collaboration with Media and Strategy teams against client-provided objectives and goals.
  • Responsible for campaign activation & management, ensuring proper execution & investment/pacing of media dollars through QA procedures.
  • Understanding of high-level client goals to translate into a paid media strategy.
  • Monitoring of campaigns to ensure delivery against established benchmarks.
  • Partner with Data & Insights team on campaign measurement including reporting and insights, and development of test & learn plans.
  • Work closely with Creative Team on creative best practices for optimal performance.
  • Provide mentorship and training for junior team members.
  • Brainstorm & research new first-to-market ideas including new betas and opportunities with our partners.
  • Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance.
  • Monitor the latest trends in search & social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services.
  • Develop POV's on key paid search and social topics.
  • Works under direct supervision of media leadership and in partnership with entire media team.
  • Works collaboratively with Data & Insights, Account, Project Management, and Strategy team.


Qualifications:

.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Social Sciences.
  • Deep understanding of Search & Social advertising platforms and best practices across major players Google, YouTube, Meta required.
  • Experience across Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, SnapChat, X, LinkedIn, NextDoor & Reddit preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing multi-channel search & social campaigns - agency experience preferred.
  • Confident, self-starter with a proven track record of success and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written & communication skills – will have frequent contact with internal agency teams as well as external clients.
  • Established presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Proficient multitasker – with ability to work simultaneously on a number of projects.
  • Platform Certifications (Meta Blueprint, Google Ads Search & Video, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions especially Excel, PPT and Keynote.
