Being a Business Development Advisor at SOQUIJ means...

  • Developing a portfolio of business partners and potential clients;
  • Fostering existing client relationships;
  • Rigorously monitoring clients, agreements, and current packages;
  • Meeting and exceeding the minimum number of visits set per week and ensuring optimal coverage of your client portfolio;
  • Tracking client needs evolution to identify and develop new business opportunities;
  • Developing appropriate strategies to meet clients' business needs and requirements;
  • Achieving and surpassing sales targets for prospecting and contract renewal;
  • Promptly responding to sales opportunities identified by the sales support team;
  • Managing all stages of the sales process in a structured manner;
  • Negotiating agreements and packages and bringing them to completion;
  • Preparing reports on partnership development activities;
  • Developing product and service presentations for clients as well as service offers tailored to their needs;
  • Staying informed and constantly monitoring all relevant information regarding competition as well as industry changes and markets in which clients operate, and reporting them to the team;
  • Networking, conducting demonstrations, and participating in conferences or other events;
  • Being an ambassador for SOQUIJ and consistently projecting a professional image in line with the company's values.

You have...

  • Membership in the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development and sales of products and services;
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word;
  • Good knowledge of sales domain;
  • Knowledge of legal practice;
  • Very good proficiency in French, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of English (English-speaking client base);
  • Public relations skills;
  • Organizational and responsibility skills;
  • Availability to occasionally travel outside Montreal.
