A Day In The Life Of Our Clinical Sales Manager:

The Clinical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with key clinical stakeholders, including pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a deep understanding of the clinical applications of our robotic lung navigation system and the ability to effectively communicate its value proposition.

  • Execute Clinical Sales Strategy and Lead Program Growth:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals, focusing on launching new programs, growing existing initiatives, and expanding market presence.
    • Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, fostering their professional development and ensuring their alignment with the company’s sales objectives. This includes setting clear performance goals, providing coaching and mentoring, and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Clinical Expertise:
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the clinical applications of our robotic lung navigation system, including its capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages.
    • Provide in-depth clinical education and training to customers, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing our technology for optimal patient outcomes. This may include conducting on-site training sessions, webinars, and workshops.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders, including pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. This involves regular communication, understanding their specific clinical needs, and providing tailored solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering ongoing support, guidance, and solutions to enhance their experience and success with our products.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the field of respiratory medicine. Provide timely updates and insights to the product development team to help inform product enhancements and improvements.
    • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and events to stay connected with key opinion leaders and influencers in the field.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns and materials. Provide input based on customer feedback and market insights to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with customer needs.
    • Work in tandem with the technical support team to ensure seamless implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for our customers. This includes coordinating training sessions and resolving any technical issues.
  • Hire, Train and Develop the Clinical Sales Team:
    • Recruit, onboard, and train new members of the clinical sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
    • Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline status, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress towards sales goals, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience, medical device preferred.
  • Experience and comfort selling in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to develop expertise and demonstrate credibility quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively utilize a CRM to manage and track progress against strategic priorities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a check of a driver's record.
