Job Description

Under the administrative direction of the Market Director, Marketing & Communications, is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic internal and external communications programs across the LHN market, designed to elevate the organization’s profile and increase engagement. Duties include communication program development and planning, key message development, media relations and strategy, crisis communication, social media strategy, executive communication and thought leadership, management of speakers’ bureau, and budget management.

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience that demonstrates steady progression of responsibilities; health care experience required and some newsroom experience preferred.
  • Staff management/supervisory experience required.
