Position: Account Manager (IT Staff Augmentation)
Location: Chicago, IL (REMOTE - Must reside in the Chicago or Milwaukee Metropolitan Areas)
Summary:
- The Account Manager will be heavily focused on bringing in Staff Augmentation roles for Paradigm Technology
- This group specializes in the staffing of Program/Project Managers as well as Information Technology (IT) professionals
- The Account Manager will manage existing accounts as well as forge new account business opportunities
- The Account Manager will act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally
- The qualified candidate must have a proven IT Sales track record with 3-5+ years of Staff Augmentation experience

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Staffing industry, specifically within the Information Technology (IT) area
- Develop client credibility and enhance Paradigm Technology’s brand as a reliable services partner
- Pursue leads, drive demand, and build sales revenue pipeline within the defined industry segment
- Be involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
- Identify and influence key decision-makers and stakeholders at the highest levels within accounts, creating awareness and building client relationships
- Sales responsibilities will include, but are not limited to identifying and generating new business through outside sales activities, such as cold calls, prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning, and relationship building
- Must have the aptitude to work with others in order to successfully match client needs and ultimately craft custom staffing solutions
- Must be a team player and will be expected to work closely with the recruiting/delivery team
- The Account Manager should possess “hunter” capabilities, as well as have experience identifying and developing meaningful relationships with new and existing clients
- The Account Manager will be supported by a highly skilled recruiting staff which assists in uncovering and delivering high quality IT talent
- Manage accurate and timely client forecast reporting, pipeline, and other important data/metrics for the industry segment
- Have an extensive network with clients and recruits
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of recent Sales/Account Development experience in Staff Augmentation with a proven IT Sales track record
- Must have strong prospecting and lead development skills, as well as be a cold-calling, self-starter who does not need to be told what to do, but knows what it takes to win
- Exceptional experience building dynamic and positive customer relationships at Senior decision-making levels, as well as front line influencing levels
- Ability to drive Business Development and have an established record of closing new accounts
- Strong competitive drive, negotiation skills, business judgment, and the ability to work independently
- Accountability for profitable results, goals, and sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and a high degree of professionalism with both small and large groups
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
