Summary:

As a Content Producer at Magellan Jets, you will play an essential role on the marketing team helping to conceptualize, produce, and manage high-quality content across various platforms. You will conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and collaborate closely with our leadership, marketing and sales teams to create compelling content that engages our target audience and aligns with our brand identity. You will cover a wide variety of topics across multiple platforms including, but not limited to website, blogs, articles, social media, case studies, guides, white papers, ads, and sales collateral.

In addition to copywriting, the ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, script content, and determine ways to remix and reuse content to maximize content life / efficacy. You will have a passion for storytelling and a proven ability to deliver creative content that resonates with Magellan’s key audience profiles. The ability to capture / edit video content is plus.

This role assumes a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices - especially how AI can be leveraged to maximize content efficacy and content roadmap prioritization.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing and is based out of our Quincy, MA headquarters with 4 days in office and 1 day work from home. We require submissions of published writing samples and examples of unique content creation (videos, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, landing pages, etc). Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Produce a wide range of content types, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, social media posts, and more.
  • Create and manage content calendars to ensure consistent production and publishing schedules.
  • Ensure all-around brand consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Write clear marketing/creative copy to promote our products and services
  • Conduct regular research on industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Conduct keyword research to help optimize our campaigns and content
  • Prepare well-structured, SEO-ready drafts
  • Identify opportunities for organic traffic growth across core website areas such as site infrastructure, keyword selection, on-page factors, and scalable content
  • Provide content performance reporting (daily/weekly/ad hoc), communicate performance to leadership and use data to inform strategic decisions
  • Coordinate with Senior Brand Marketing Manager to develop social media content
  • Coordinate with marketing and design resources to produce content to support business development such as infographics, one-pagers, and sales collateral
  • Help identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Regularly update website content
  • Manage video production timelines, deadlines, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing, video production and content creation.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong portfolio of published content demonstrating creativity and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms including but not limited to WordPress, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter (X), etc.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI to accelerate content development and scalability while ensuring authentic, human-developed content.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)


Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Content Producer, Content Manager, or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Web development background is a plus.
