Director, Wholesale Voice

As the Director of Wholesale Voice for Sangoma’s Trunking portfolio of products, you will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success, finance, legal) across the company to develop and drive the product strategy and execution for Sangoma’s Wholesale Trunking Services.
This role is open to a Hybrid work schedule in the following locations: Atlanta, Huntsville, Markham, Pittsburgh, and Sarasota.

As the Director of Wholesale Voice for Sangoma’s Trunking portfolio of products, you will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success, finance, legal) across the company to develop and drive the product strategy and execution for Sangoma’s Wholesale Trunking Services.
This role is open to a Hybrid work schedule in the following locations: Atlanta, Huntsville, Markham, Pittsburgh, and Sarasota.
Your Role:
- Manage and expand IPES Network to drive down costs and provide more control over our traffic.
- Establish peering relationships and the billing mechanisms to accurately invoice the service.
- Standardize our voice offering from a pricing perspective and find innovative ways to increase revenue.
- Define, communicate, and execute the product vision and strategy for your products in support of the overall business strategy, including maintaining a clear product roadmap that drives revenue growth, or in the case of the network connectivity products, minimizes the decline / maximizes the value we still have in that product set.
- Partner closely and engage consistently with marketing, sales, and customer success leaders to develop go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments and create end-to-end operational plans to profitably grow and scale the business and drive business value.
- Drive engineering to deliver on the roadmap.
- Work with various sales operations personnel to keep the price lists accurate, etc.
- Create and maintain product specific “golden” presentations that can be used with sales interactions.
- Work closely with product marketing on product positioning and campaigns.
- Be the expert in and provide leadership on the trunking and network connectivity market and competitive landscape.
- Occasionally interface with analysts and attend/present at key conferences.
- Educate customers, prospects, and partners about our product releases, priorities, and vision.
- Partner with sales and business development personnel to identify key partnerships to help drive awareness and showcasing the breadth and depth of our offerings in the marketplace.
- BA or BS in Business, Management, Engineering or equivalent job experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience.
- Proven leader who understands highly technical products and is experienced at influencing engineers and making product trade-offs.
- Demonstrated track record of success working with broad cross-functional teams with the ability to evangelize and convince internal constituencies, executives, customers, analysts, and partners on your ideas and plans for fulfillment.
- Prior experience working in VOIP, SIP, trunking or connectivity is a plus but not a requirement.
- Strong understanding of the customer and end-user experience driving adoption and stickiness.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
