Lenovo is seeking an energetic and passionate sales executive, committed to performing and working in a startup-like environment within a large organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a cross-matrixed environment and will need to build relationships across NA Services Sales Marketing Teams, Sales, Services, Marketing, Finance leaders teams within the NA region

Lenovo is seeking an energetic and passionate sales executive, committed to performing and working in a startup-like environment within a large organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a cross-matrixed environment and will need to build relationships across NA Services Sales Marketing Teams, Sales, Services, Marketing, Finance leaders teams within the NA region
Key Objectives Of Position
- This role is responsible for driving CSP Services Sales in North America. It involves driving portfolio demand through our Lenovo Sales team, Business Resellers, and building win-win relationships with Service Providers/Partners.
- The position is accountable for accurate promotion and communication of software and services offerings.
- Success is measured by meeting financial objectives through effective business development and sales efforts in the assigned segment(s).
- Day to Day Enablement of CSP Sales
- Drive Microsoft CSP licensing (M365, Azure and somewhat Dynamics) revenue by closing deals with direct clients.
- Support resellers joining the indirect reseller CSP program including sales, onboarding and enablement of services, all of which are sold through the Lenovo Cloud Marketplace
- Develop services opportunities around M365 and Copilot, closing what we can and passing leads to DWS sellers.
- Hunt new Modern Workplace (CoPilot, licensing, security) opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business and technical contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of M365 platform
- Own and drive new revenue growth for Microsoft M365 solutions by setting and achieving monthly sales forecasts.
- Identify customer business and technology challenges and bring them to agreement on the business value of modern Workplace
- Own opportunities from qualification to close by orchestrating an extensive virtual team consisting of technical and partner roles across an extensive portfolio of products, escalating issues for internal business and technical teams, and negotiating final proposals.
- Foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision Makers and lead sales team to blockers to evaluation, contracting, deployment, and usage
- Own the sales quoting process while providing details on CSP services offerings and maintaining central storage of quotations.
- Reporting
- Support required elements for weekly and monthly reviews through our pipeline management system.
- Provide input/insight and suggested actions. Be an active participant in improving business process.
- Communication skills – ability to recognize challenges, and communicate quickly and effectively.
- Strong relationship building skills to create trusted advisor relationships with direct clients and indirect resellers
- Proficient in Microsoft Cloud Offering including M365 and Azure
- Excellent organizational skills and must be a self-starter who has experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, passion for start-up like environment.
- Ability to build effective virtual teams and drive results via others in a complex cross-functional organization
- Keen focus on customer needs with exceptional analytical skills financial acumen.
- Commitment and ownership of role.
- Critical thinker (solve for the right problem).
- Can work Independently but engage others as required to close opportunities
- Achievement of licensing and services Revenue and PTI targets.
- Accuracy of pipeline entries and client facing quotations
- Timely responses to enquiries.
- Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or finance would be highly regarded.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft CSP licensing
- Sales and operations experience
- Strong channel and distribution experience
- Experience in solution managed services selling
- Problem-solving skill base
- Working with worldwide teams
