SUMMARY: The Operations Support Specialist ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of Bowlero Corp's operations processes, with a specific focus on purchasing. This position works collaboratively with field personnel, account representatives, suppliers, and management teams to provide comprehensive support, with a commitment to delivering cost-efficient goods and services to meet the company's objectives .

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work collaboratively with field personnel, account representatives, suppliers, and members of the management/division team to provide purchasing support and ensure efficiency.
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of the Requisition Self Service system (RSS) and field inquiries related to RSS as needed.
  • Assist with center new openings and closings as needed.
  • Fulfill all related business requests made by the VP of Ops Support.
  • Provide up to 25% of work devoted to Guest Service and Mailroom support as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Program Management:

  • Manage the outgoing purchase order program to ensure all purchase orders are correct and have transmitted successfully. Assist with corrections and changes as needed.
  • M anage the Supplier Master in ERP (JD Edwards) and the Purchasing Inbox.
  • Process vendor setups and changes in the Supply Master.
  • Maintain Commodity Tree setup and center assignments.
  • Upload vendor pricing within ERP (JD Edwards) /RSS and maintain Item Master/Supplier Pricing.
  • Assist with new vendor Credit Applications as needed.
  • Update and maintain the department intranet site ensuring all information is current and accurate .
  • Update vendor COI (insurance information) in ERP (JD Edwards) and maintain the contract workbench system.
  • Update and maintain PBA member records in ERP (JD Edwards) .
  • Generate Crystal Reports as needed.

Coordination with Accounts Payable:

  • Work directly with Accounts Payable staff on purchase order invoice issues.

Extended Workdays:

  • Ability to work extended workdays to support business needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Qualifications:

  • Highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees).
  • Solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), internet, and ERP (JD Edwards).
  • Strong team player and people developer with a high level of profit and loss capability and sales and marketing skills and abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Must Haves:
  • Education: High School or GED
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in purchasing, operations, or a related field
  • Nice to Haves:
  • Education: Associates Degree in Business Administration or related area
  • Experience: 3 or more years of experience in purchasing, operations, or a related field

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.
