Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret business needs, translating them into functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends or issues.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans to validate solutions meet business needs.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
