Job Summary
The IT Business Analyst will join a growing information technology team that is delivering innovative solutions to support Dorman Product’s significant business growth plans within the rapidly changing automotive industry. We are looking for an IT Business Analyst with experience in enhancing and supporting customer experience and sales technology solutions including order management, pricing, EDI, and sales operations. This role will work directly with our Sales and Customer Experience teams to define detailed business requirements for new customer integration programs and sales related tasks and will work hand in hand with technical teams to implement. Primary Duties
Support sales and customer service with the evaluation, prioritization, and scoping of projects and system enhancements (e.g. order management, ecommerce, pricing, sales operations) and new required customer programs (e.g. new integrations, reports, labeling, etc.)
Document required business requirements for prioritized enhancements.
Work with business and technical teams to define scope, approach, and timeline to deliver requests.
Coordinate with technical and business teams on the testing and deployment of requests. Coordinate as needed with external customer business partners to implement key fixes or enhancements.
Manage and support onboarding of new EDI trading partners. Act as the primary coordinator between customer, technical teams, and internal business stakeholders to get new or enhanced EDI transaction sets deployed. Assist with the triage of consistent errors and work to coordinate fixes internally or with trading partner.
Qualifications
Proven business analysis skills and significant exposure to sound system implementation methodologies and practices.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to translate complex information into comprehensive and concise business terms.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to create user-friendly solutions by considering usability principles and user experience.
Self-motivated, independent contributor with the ability to learn new business areas, tools and concepts quickly.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience
Held previous IT business analysis role in a consumer product or industrial manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with SAP order management and end to end EDI processing strongly desired.
