Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst in Miami, FL (Florida). Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that clearly capture the needs of the business
• Analyze and document business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business units and stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Offer suggestions and solutions to enhance business processes and workflows
• Ensure that all requirements are captured accurately and are aligned with business goals
• Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery
• Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliverables
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and offer solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in creating BRDs and functional specifications
• Familiarity with business process modeling and workflow analysis
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in requirements management and documentation tools
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
• Experience in the travel, tourism, or cruise industry
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Visio, SQL)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
