Parameta Solutions is a leading global provider of OTC market data. From pre to post trade, our solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively. Building strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with global financial institutions is important to Parameta Solutions long-term growth aspirations. Aligned to this strategy is the position; Head of Index Sales to be located in the TP ICAP New York office.

Role Overview

The Head of Index sales will work to generate revenue and adoption of Index products in key client segments including Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Financial Institutions, Product Issuers and Exchanges. The role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and developing relationships within existing accounts. Internally you will collaborate with Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Policy, Legal and Global Broking teams regarding new Index development, creating and delivering presentations and proposals, managing contract discussions and alignment with the broader Benchmark and Index strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide input into the Benchmark and Index strategy
  • Work to aggressively increase net revenue from Indexes and Benchmarks
  • Increase the number and diversity of partners including Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Product Issuers, QIS Desks, Exchanges and Index Providers
  • Manage existing key relationships
  • Partner with internal Product and Technology teams to develop integration design and project plans to support growth in key client segments
  • Represent Parameta Solutions at relevant conferences and press events
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships and make contact with prospective new clients where appropriate
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work; actively solicit feedback from industry participants through various means, including trade calls, surveys, industry events, trade shows and conferences
  • Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures
  • Provide detailed product feedback from clients and partners to internal stakeholders in an effort to drive innovation and continually improve our Index products


Experience / Competences:

Essential

  • Significant experience within Index Sales, Product Issuance or Consultancy
  • Personable and engaging
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible
  • Demonstrates strong customer focus
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others
  • Constructively handles disagreements to reach a resolution
  • Ability to work with diverse groups/ personalities


Please note, the salary range for this role is between $180000 - $200,000 (plus commission)
