The VPR will spearhead initiatives aimed at tackling complex societal issues, fostering innovation, enhancing global quality of life, and bolstering prosperity across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Empowering Research Innovation

Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President, the VPR will champion the strengthening of our research enterprise. This involves aligning efforts system-wide and concentrating on critical research priorities. The VPR will foster a culture that celebrates and incentivizes the research, scholarly, and creative achievements of both faculty and students. They will also oversee operations, support, advancement, partnerships, and commercialization endeavors.
