Think AI is only good for generating cat pictures? Of course you don’t or you would not be reading between the lines here. 

We're a stealth-mode startup founded by the same crew who built and sold Kamua.com (yeah, the AI video editing wizards!). Cough, cough. Now, we're on a mission to build the ultimate content understanding AI. Imagine a world where machines can actually get the gist of news articles, blog posts, podcasts, videos – you name it, and can do agent-level actions. That's what we're cooking up. With extra toppings.

Spoiler alert: This isn't your average AI gig. We're talking cutting-edge, bleeding-edge, never-been-done-before stuff. Think GPTs, open-source SOTA, and a whole lot of secret sauce (that's where you come in!).

We need a wicked-smart Head of AI Research to lead the charge.

What You'll Be Doing (aka The Fun Stuff):

• Be Our AI Whisperer: Dive and swim deep into the world of open-source models, datasets, embeddings, and architectures – if it's cutting-edge, you'll be all over it.
• Get your hands dirty (virtually, of course): This ain't just theoretical research. You'll be building POCs, experimenting, and making our AI dreams a reality. Consider this your playground for all things multi-modal. 
• Super Savant: Stay ahead of the curve and help us navigate the ever-evolving world of AI. 

What You Bring to the Party (aka Your Superpowers):

• Multi-modal Yoda You speak the language of multi-modal machine learning fluently (bonus points if you dream in embeddings).
• Large model maestro: You and large models (especially Transformers) are like two peas in a pod. Show us what you've built, and let's geek out together!
• Clustering & Similarity champion: You can spot patterns in data faster than a caffeine-fueled raccoon, and your clustering and similarity skills are off the charts.
• Code ninja: Python is your weapon of choice, and you're a master of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. And if you do Javascript and TypeScript too, bring it!
• Passionate nerd: You eat, sleep, and breathe AI (and most tech), and you're always down for a good challenge.

• Your Call - Salary or Contract: We believe in flexibility. Whether you prefer the stability of full-time employee status or the latitude of contracting (self-employed or through your company), we're open to suggestions!
• Show Me the Money: We offer competitive compensation in the top 10% for pre-seed startups. Think $90,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on your experience and what you're looking for (aka we trade cash for equity if you want a bigger stock package).
• Equity - Own a Piece of the Pie: Sharing is careering. You'll be part of our Y-Combinator style equity plan, meaning the first 10 employees get a pretty sweet slice, and you will be in those first 10 hires.

Keep in mind we are early-stage with a global footprint. There will be time zones and different needs based on different regions, cultures and ways of working. The core development team is based in the EU, so CET is going to be the primary time zone reference.
