Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Talent Management, the Talent Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative and functional support to the Leadership & Talent Development team. The Talent Development Coordinator will coordinate, plan, and support orientation, talent management initiatives, employee engagement and learning, and other leadership development programs.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Includes The Following

  • Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
  • Provides overall administrative support for L&TD team (e.g., Scheduling, booking rooms, printing documents, etc).
  • Work closely with L&TD team to provide project management & coordination support for key projects such as leadership and development programs, talent review, engagement survey, recognition, and others.
  • Under the oversight of the assistant director, Talent Management, own and coordinate monthly new hire orientation; from booking venue, managing schedules, sending new-hire emails, updating presentations, assembling materials, and coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless new hire experience.
  • Develop learning/training content as needed; including guides, workbooks, materials and communications
  • Coordinate training schedules/instructors, space, materials and track attendance and evaluation
  • Ensure timely, proactive and ongoing communication and engagement with program stakeholders (facilitators, managers of participants, etc.) throughout the applicable program/initiatives
  • Play a key role in various survey administrations (e.g., WPH Engagement, Great Place to Work) – tracking, reporting, and communications
  • Provide coordination and logistic support for applicable hospital events and giveaways (e.g., Hospital Week, Fall BBQ, etc)
  • Support/develop communications and tracking of participants for various talent and hospital initiatives
  • Partner with L&TD team in designing and planning of leadership development and hi-potential programs.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

    • Required: Bachelor’s degree Human Resources or closely related field
    • Required: 1-3 years of experience working in HR ideally in a Learning & Development, Talent Management or Organizational Development environment
    • Preferred: At least 2 years in healthcare
