Social/Digital Lead

We are looking for an exceptionally driven individual to join our Social & Strategy team to help build and support our efforts to create groundbreaking content.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who champions collaboration and creativity as key components of great client service. The candidate will lead highly talented teams in the development of breakthrough social/digital content and has a proven track record of growing and positively impacting the revenue and reputation of digital first divisions through strong client relationships, keen industry insights and innovative creative.

Responsibilities include:

Business Development

• Lead social new business efforts/client pitches
• Leverage existing relationships across entertainment and brands to expand Buddha Jones’ client base and increase project acquisition.
• Build relationships with new clients and strengthen existing relationships through open communication and a consistent commitment to creative excellence
• Partner across divisions on pitches requiring digital/social expertise/creative

Creative & Client Management

• Actively participate in creative ideation and development of digital/social content
• Ability to provide practical creative direction and feedback to creative teams
• Ensure work is on-brief, consistent with client expectations and meets Buddha Jones’ standard of creative excellence
• Hands on management of daily activities for multiple clients/projects

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in client management with the entertainment industry
• 3+ years of experience in the digital/social space
• A minimum of 2 years in a revenue-generating role
• Budget planning and management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A passion for entertainment (film, series, gaming)
