DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will utilize accounting principles to assess financial data in this role. They will be responsible for creating financial reports for Housing Authority programs, ensuring that the Authority's accounting records are precise and compliant. Additionally, you will maintain the general ledger for various housing Authority programs and funding sources, supervise tenant accounting tasks such as issuing billing statements, recording payments, and reconciling accounts. Moreover, you will handle processing and recording bank deposits, managing collections loss information, acting as the custodian for petty cash, and tracking utility consumption and payments.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional accounting experience and graduation from a four year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting; or
- One year as a Fiscal Technician and 15 college credits in accounting; or
- Five years of bookkeeping experience; and 15 college credits in accounting.
