Our Technical Program Managers are pivotal in supporting our Engineering teams by spearheading a diverse array of projects. These projects focus on investing in our infrastructure and refining our development processes, ensuring both timely delivery and high-quality execution of our product strategies. This role is crucial in helping the company achieve its broader objectives and enhancing the overall user experience.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Engineering leaders to define and execute initiatives aimed at operational excellence. You will have the unique opportunity to drive significant improvements, influence our strategic direction, and implement processes that ensure scalability and efficiency across our products. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will drive technical programs across various engineering disciplines, align project goals with business objectives, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration twice per week. This position is located in Palo Alto or San Francisco.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Engineering team leads to define scope, coordinate, and track technical programs across the Engineering organization
  • Partner across multiple strategic investments in the operation and communication of end-to-end project schedules, (e.g., epics, sprint plans, milestones, timelines, and releases) monitor delivery and release processes, ensuring stakeholder accountability
  • Identify opportunities to improve the execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and light-weight processes
  • Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering teams on program management best practices
  • Manage requirements documentation, milestone mapping, prioritization, and program communicationUse your technical understanding to partner with and influence engineers in delivering solutions
  • Communicate clear status to all levels of leadership, including technical status and how it impacts business outcomes


  • You’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, or in Agile/Scrum as a Scrum Master
  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
  • Willingness to develop domain expertise in the area you operate - TPMs are not expected to write or read code but are expected to understand system flows, block architectures, APIs, and such
  • Deep expertise with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and/or Monday.com
  • A proactive self-starter, have the ability to take initiative, and learn quickly to drive operational excellence


  • Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of mobile app development and related technologies
  • Previous experience building mobile and web applicationsCSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certifications
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Grafana, Mode, or similarPrevious experience partnering and collaborating with Product teams
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience


  • $146,000 - $180,000 a year

    Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and West Hollywood CA. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
