InfraHIre is looking for Senior Estimator in Macomb Township, MI
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator / Project manager. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, estimating costs, preparing and submitting bids, and collaborating with project managers and subcontractors. Individual MUST be experienced in estimating Water & Sewer Public works projects by means of open cut excavation and road improvement experience.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures
Proficiency in Heavy Bid "HCSS" or related estimating software
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience in cost estimation and budgeting primarily open cut excavation and installation of Water and sewer systems.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented and organized
Prior experience as a Senior Estimator is preferred but not necessary
