The Opportunity

The Production Team Leadis responsible for a variety of operations functions within the framework of Metallics policies and procedures and in compliance of applicable regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
• Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
• Coach and Train team members
• Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets
• Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses
• Identify team goals and evaluate team progress
• Delegate tasks, follows up and assures production orders are processed (or completed) accurately
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Motivate team members
• Listen to team members’ feedback
• Replenish team with materials as needed. (Ensure the team is supplied with material and/or production order as needed)
• Assist team members with achieving production goals
  
  

Qualifications

• Lead experience - 1year(minimum)
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence and skillful negotiating skills
• Computer literate
• Strong organizational skills to give the team direction
• Knowledge of basic math; accuracy in counts
• Strong track record of safety performance/communication
• Must be responsible, reliable and take ownership of assigned duties
• Ability to take initiative and organize their own work independently
• Manufacturing – 2 years (preferred)
