This app has been a life changer. Quite literally. The amount of harmful toxins I can now easily avoid is significant. I have completely changed my shopping habits and it's amazing how much better we all feel now that we rid our pantry of everything we used to eat and replaced it with healthy, organic alternatives. The cosmetics were a whole scary nightmare on their own. Thank goodness for Yuka. Learning more about the team behind the app and how they operate makes me love the app even more.

The Yuca app is a fantastic tool for anyone serious about making informed decisions about the products they buy and consume. It's a great app. It would be perfect if you could add in the chemicals that aren't registering when updating ingredient lists. EG, these tortilla chips I bought had a rating of 90, and I updated the ingredient list, and it counted the questionable silicon dioxide, dropping the rating down to in the 40s. BUT it didn't count the brilliant blue fcf (known to cause tumours and cancer) or the allura red eyes in the mix. I want to know exactly what I'm eating, and things like that should be included.
