About this app

Use Firefox Focus for everything you want to keep separate from your main browser — for all those get in get out and forget about it moments. No tabs, no fuss, no muss. Block online trackers too. One tap, and your browsing history is completely destroyed.

Firefox Focus is the perfect get in/get out, search and destroy, I’m on a mission that’s none-of-your-business — web browser.

NEW DISTRACTION-FREE DESIGN
When you open Focus, you just get the awesome bar and the keyboard for super quick searching. That’s it. No recent history, no past sites, no open tabs, no ads trackers, no distractions. Just a simple, minimal design with menus that make sense.

ONE TAP TO DELETE HISTORY
Erase your history, passwords and cookies with just a tap of the trash button.

CREATE SHORTCUTS
Pin up to four shortcuts on your home screen. Get to your favorite site even quicker without typing anything.

FASTER BROWSING WITH AD BLOCKING & TRACKING PROTECTION
Firefox Focus blocks many ads you’d normally see on web pages due to our enhanced tracking protection so you get much faster page load speeds, which means you get to the stuff you want a lot faster. Focus blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social trackers and those sticky ones that come from things like Facebook ads.

BACKED BY A NON-PROFIT
Firefox Focus is backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the web, so you can trust it not to sell your data.

you can only 'pin' 4 of your reg sites as favorites, after that the option to save a page is gone. you can add a page to your home screen but then you've got a mess and too many things to click thru before you can visit a site Most annoying is you can only view one thing at a time. if you open a link in a new tab .... the tab disappears! where does it go, why can't it be seen? why reinvent language? don't want "pins" and "homepage icons in a cluster" - can we just have bookmarks or favorites?

Was great - *AT FIRST*. After a while (a few months), it breaks down. Not the first time this has happened...sick & tired of this! It's *2024*, ffs!! Brave does the same, Firefox regular, does the same. They just break down @ different rates. Ffox Regular, has so far lasted the longest, before it too, breaks down. I shouldn't have 2 reinstall every few mths!! Chrome has *NO* security & all the other main line browsers, have less. Who are we supposed 2 depend on 2 access our Internet searches??

Excellent browser for what it is. Lightweight and fast with good privacy protections. Using Android means accepting Google's surveillance OS. It's hard to minimize all the privacy violations in Android, let alone get away from them. FFF browser succeeds. Why the complaints about tabs? If you want them go for A SLOW browser. This is designed to be a LIGHTWEIGHT browser. If Mozilla adds all sorts of features it'll slow down. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either an app is light or it's full featured but it can't be both!
